Join us a volunteer
The Yarra Institute warmly welcomes help from volunteers with skills to offer. As our work develops, we will need help on various committees, with research, publications, administration and fund-raising. If you think you may have a contribution to make, please contact us at our office. Click here.
Make an Endowment
An endowment is an interest-free loan, with the money invested for a period of five or so years. The endowment can later be extended or renewed. The donor retains ownership of the capital, but the interest goes to the beneficiary, in this case the Yarra Institute for Religion and Social Policy. The donor is not taxed on that interest. Endowments must be administered by Trustees independent of the Yarra Institute.
Make a Bequest
Let your contribution live on after you.
Most of us want to leave this world a better place for our being here. As we grow older, we may sometimes wonder how to hand on the torch of love and concern to the new generations, and particularly to ensure a just and peaceful future for those in poverty and distress. Making a bequest can ensure your aspirations and hopes will endure after you. If you wish to make a lasting contribution in the struggle for a more just and peaceful world, please consider the Yarra Institute for Religion and Social Policy in your will.
