Similarly, <em>Fratelli Tutti<\/em>, issued last year, is a groundbreaking vision urging us to \u201ca Culture of Encounter\u201d, transcending the barriers to genuine peace which are growing in our time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Fratelli Tutti<\/em>, or <em>Brothers All<\/em>, was St Francis of Assisi\u2019s way of addressing his fellow friars in the 13th century. Today, he may well have said <em>Beloved All<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pope Francis challenges us to think not as isolated nations or groups, but as interconnected in the \u2018one human family\u2019, to exercise our shared humanity, irrespective of origin, nationality, ethnicity and religion; to build bridges, not walls. Dialogue is a necessity, not an option.
